I am Thotawaththage Sanjeewa Prasad Jayaweera, a Sri Lankan male of 38 years.
I was born in Colombo and had primary and secondary education at St. Aloysius' college, Ratnapura. Then I followed the
course in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science in the University of Peradeniya and obtained B.V.Sc.(Honour) degree in
1999.
At the moment I am attached to the Department of Livestock Production of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Sabaragamuwa
University of Sri Lanka, as a Senior Lecturer in Livestock Production. I am also offering my service as a Veterinary
Surgeon to the University and the surrounding area.
In addition, I am working as the Senior Student Counselor of the university and the Co-ordinator of the QEF (Agri. Sc.)
of the world bank funded IRQUE project. I also serve as the Founder president of the Balangoda Swine Farmers Association.
My Father is Mr.T. Jayaweera, a retired clericle officer and the Mother is Late (Mrs) I. Wanigathunge. I have five dearest
sisters; Chandima, Shamila, Ganga, Surangi and Apsara.
I am happily married to Darshanee Ruwandeepika, also a Veterinary Surgeon and currently a PhD student at Gent University,
Belgium and we have a lovely son of four years and ten months, Dimuth Induwara.
